D'après Patrick Kersalé (voir le livret de son CD "Viet Nam : anthologie de la musique Ede"), le "goc" est une guimbarde en bambou. La languette vibrante est surmontée d'une petite charge de cire afin de modifier sa vitesse de vibration, donc la hauteur de la note.
