After looking for visitors on the opposite bank, climb the notched staircase. The singing begins. Traditional ritual to welcome visitors near the long house overlooking the river. Sacrifice of a chicken and sprinkling of blood and water on each visitor, followed by an offering of drink (Tellang Layuk). The men's singing continues. (See bilingual booklet.
