en Recorded in situ. Vocal introduction by J. Dournes. Fiddle: monochord fiddle köni. Playing the monochord fiddle köni requires that the musician also produces sounds with his voice: a separate string is attached to the string of the instrument and held by his mouth. He hums through gritted teeth.
