Field recordings made in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, in 1997 by D. Rappoport :Dayak, Iban, Kayan populations. Musician Pa' Anga plays a long four-string lute whose 13 frets (lasar) on the first string change according to the pieces. He's about 40 years old. Womanizer, often drunk, stays up at night.
