Field recordings made in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, in 1997 by D. Rappoport :Dayak, Iban, Kayan populations. Solo singing, for working in the fields, stories about ancestors. Here, the singer is a man (?) Abang Pulo, 58 years old, Balian healer. It's "a story so that people work in groups and don't get bored at work." The singing is almost recto tono, and not very rhythmic, slow.

Enregistrements sonores inédits réalisés en Indonésie (West Kalimantan) en 1997 par Dana Rappoport, auprès des populations Dayak Taman, Iban, Kayan Mendalam. Chant soliste, pour travailler aux champs, récits sur les ancêtres. Ici, le chanteur est un homme (?) Abang Pulo, 58 ans, guérisseur balien. C'est"une histoire pour que les gens travaillent en groupe et ne s'ennuient pas au travail". Le Chant est presque recto tono, et peu rythmé, lent.

Disini penyanyinya adalah laki-laki (?) Abang Pulo, 58 tahun, tabib Balian. Ini adalah "sebuah cerita agar orang-orang bekerja dalam kelompok dan tidak bosan dalam bekerja." Nyanyiannya hampir recto tono, tidak terlalu berirama, lambat.
