Field recordings made in Sumbawa, Indonesia, in 1992 by D. Rappoport and J. Simonnot. Ibu Maimuna (Mbo Munak), 60 years old, betel chewer. Slow singing, deep voice, vibrato. The voice is very broken. Couplets in Indonesian. The woman sways gently. During the last two minutes, we hear music in the distance.

Enregistrements sonores inédits réalisés par Dana Rappoport et Joséphine Simonnot du 18 au 24 septembre 1992, en Indonésie (Sumbawa). Ibu Maimuna (Mbo Munak), 60 ans, chiqueuse de bétel. Chant lent, voix grave, vibrato. La voix est bien cassée. Couplets en indonésien. La femme se balance doucemnet. Sur les deux dernières minutes, on entend une musique au loin.
