Jama Mapun, Islamized Sama population originally from Cagayan de Sulu (Cagayan de Tawi-Tawi) who emigrated to the east coast of South Palawan and settled on the coast. Unpublished sound recording of the first ethnographic and linguistic expedition carried out in Palawan, under the aegis of CéDRASEMI (CNRS-EHESS) : music (instrumental and vocal), arts of the spoken word, illustrated with some examples of oral literature, and rhetoric.
