Rosario de Santos Bona Lorrin del Rosario
was a student of Georges Condominas and a member of CeDRASEMI; she has deposited some of her audio recordings with the Department of Ethno-Musicology at the Musée de l'Homme in Paris.
Another part of her collection has been deposited at the Center for Ethno-Musicology, founded by musicologist José Maceda, at the University of the Philippines (UP Diliman).
Since August 2021, her field notes, photos, and publications have been entrusted to UP Baguio, one of the University of the Philippines campuses close to the Ifugaos, where she began teaching Anthropology and from where she began collecting material and immaterial Ifugao culture.
She worked for years among the Ifugao, one of the mountain tribes of the Cordillera Central. Her PhD, “The Ifugao Alim as Gendered Discourse,” presents Ifugao culture and analyzes this long narrative, sung during prestigious rituals by “mun-alim” who are also mumbaki, the officiants, during the rites.

Depuis Août 2021, ses notes de terrain, photos et publications, ont été confiées à UP Baguio, un des campus de l’Université des Philippines proche des Ifugaos, où elle a commencé à enseigner l’Anthropologie et d’où elle a entrepris de faire une collection sur la culture matérielle et immatérielle des Ifugao.
Elle a travaillé pendant des années parmi les Ifugao - une des tribus montagnardes de la Cordillère centrale.
Son Doctorat, « The Ifugao Alim as Gendered Discourse », présente la culture ifugao et fait une analyse de ce long récit, chanté lors de rituels de prestige par des « mun-alim » qui sont aussi des mumbaki, les officiants, lors des rites.
