Recorded in situ. Information on the "dding-pông" in Jacques Dournes, "Music among the Jörai": > When you hear it, you think you hear a metallic sound produced by percussion. In fact, it is a simple bamboo internode and requires three people to play it. It functions like a tubular airplane, not like a xylophone, it is not struck.Sound recordings collected by Jacques Dournes, French missionary and researcher, in Viet Nam in 1966 from the Jarai populations: instrumental solos, invocations, songs and soundscapes .
