Recorded in situ. Announcement by J. Dournes. Unpublished sound recordings of instrumental/vocal melodies and instrumental plays made by Jacques Dournes from 1963 to 1964 in Vietnam with the Jarai population. VIELE: monochord fiddle "köni"; CITHAR: two-stringed zither "ddong". Particularities: the piece is played by a single musician who combines the two instruments (the fiddle "köni" and the two-stringed zither "ddong"). Furthermore, playing the monochord fiddle "köni" implies that the musician also produces sounds with his voice: a string attached to the string of the instrument is held by his mouth. Enregistrements sonores inédits de mélodies instrumentales/vocales et de jeux instrumentaux effectués par Jacques Dournes de 1963 à 1964 au Vietnam auprès de la population jaraï. VIELE: vièle monocorde "köni"; CITHARE: cithare à deux cordes "ddong". Particularités: la pièce est joué par un seul musicien qui combine les deux instruments (la vièle "köni" et la cithare à deux cordes "ddong"). Par ailleurs le jeu de la vièle monocorde "köni" implique que le musicien produit également des sons avec sa voix: une ficelle fixée à la corde de l'instrument est retenue par sa bouche.
