Tandis que les hommes chantent dans l'atelier, femmes et enfants, ôtent les "taros de grande taille" (maseveh) posés sur le dessus, pour aller les faire cuire sous leur "plateforme sur pilotis" (tagakal).

Night songs and exchanges of words between the "builders" and close relatives of the village of Jiraraley in the workshop of the coxswain of the fishing group. While the men sing in the workshop, women and children remove the "large taros" (maseveh) placed on top, to go and cook them under their "platform on stilts" (tagakal).
