During the great harvest ritual in the field of the Maran clan in May.The day after the rice origin story, everyone harvests the Maran field. Young men work the rice by treading it to separate the stalk from the grains. The lyrics are often funny and ribald. (cf. Transcriptions from Lamaholot to Indonesian). They parody the great origin myth. The soloist improvises lyrics often in two languages, Lamaholot and Nagi (Larantuka Malay). See Film cassette 20, 21, 22.

Lihat kaset film 20, 21, 22.
