Catholic singing office. Every Saturday morning, in the small town of Larantuka, a group of women have been meeting for four centuries in a chapel to sing songs from Portuguese colonization around 1550. Mixed chorus with bell held by a soloist. Danced in the round. The women are in a circle, the women in 4s, the men holding each other's shoulders, taking small steps. Great vigor of the dance linked to the rhythm, to the excitement caused by the soloist who sends the phrases, who rings a bell. Antiphony men and women. During the dance, alcohol is served to the singer dancers. Binary
