Catholic singing office. Every Saturday morning, in the small town of Larantuka, a group of women have been meeting for four centuries in a chapel to sing songs from Portuguese colonization around 1550. These songs are sung in Latin, Old Portuguese and Indonesian. . 10 tracks alternate prayers and songs in different languages. This is a personal, contextual prayer.•

CHR = 10 H + 10 F. chorus in unison 4 parts: chr H unison, then chr F, then more rhythmic song, then return to sustained unison. The song alternates measured and unmeasured. The H's form a line and, in front of them, the F's another line; the soloist is in front. Danced in rows, 1 row of men and 1 row of women in front of each other moving laterally Swinging transversely. Measured and unmeasured alternation. The song is ritual, if it is not sung at a specific time, people get sick.
