fr La cérémonie célébrée à la manière du Nord Vietnam comporte plusieurs offrandes : offrande de l'encens, offrande de l'alcool (2 fois), offrande du riz gluant. Les déclamations du chanteur se trouvent entre les parties instrumentales. L'orchestre se compose d'un hautbois, d'une flûte, d'un tambour, des gongs, des cliquettes en bois, des cliquettes à sapèques. Le rythme change suivant l'offrande. La voix d'homme est déclamée entre chaque offrande. Le 2 octobre 1958, les Vietnamiens célèbrent à Saïgon l'anniversaire de la mort du Général Trân Hung Dao à son nouveau temple inauguré le 02 octobre 1958 au 36 rue Hiên Vuong à Saïgon
Trân Hung Dao (1228-1300) est un général vietnamien qui fut notamment victorieux contre les envahisseurs Mongols en 1288.
La harangue qu'il faisait à ses soldats avant de livrer bataille est célèbre, par ses sentiments patriotiques et la beauté de son style.
Les Taoïstes vietnamiens lui rendent un culte dans tout le Viet Nam. Ils invoquent le Grand Immortel pour demander la protection de leurs familles, la guérison des malades et la santé des femmes en couches et des nouveaux-nés. (Cf. en The ceremony, celebrated in the North Vietnamese style, involves several offerings: incense, alcohol (twice), and sticky rice. The singer's recitations are interspersed between instrumental pieces. The orchestra consists of an oboe, a flute, a drum, gongs, wooden rattles, and cash rattles. The rhythm changes according to the offering. A male voice recites between each offering. On October 2, 1958, the Vietnamese in Saigon celebrated the anniversary of the death of General Tran Hung Dao at his new temple, inaugurated on October 2, 1958, at 36 Hien Vuong Street in Saigon. Tran Hung Dao (1228-1300) was a Vietnamese general who notably defeated the Mongol invaders in 1288. His pre-battle speech to his soldiers is famous for its patriotic fervor and elegant style. Vietnamese Taoists venerate him throughout Vietnam. They invoke the Great Immortal to ask for the protection of their families, the healing of the sick, and the health of women in childbirth and newborns.
