Gông tube zither with 12 strings, instrumental music. The Jörai "gong" zither is made of a bamboo internode closed on both sides, 70 to 90 cm long and 5 to 8 cm in diameter, fitted with a gourd resonator. Twelve or thirteen metal ropes, generally recovered from bicycle brake cables, are arranged in a semi-circle around the supporting pipe, stretched on annular trestles and tightened by dowels.
