Cette musique accompagne la danse collective des Dayak, une ronde monotone scandée tous les trois pas durant toute la nuit. Elle est dansée lors de grandes occasions et, surtout, quand une nouvelle tête coupée arrive au village.

This music accompanies the collective dance of the Dayak, a monotonous round dance chanted every three steps throughout the night. It is danced on special occasions and, especially, when a new head arrives in the village.
