Lesong undat, avec commentaires de l'ethnographe au milieu de la performance
Vocal and instrumental music collected in Kalimantan Timur in 1977 by N. Revel, J. Maceda and I Made Bandem. During a festive occasion, a wedding for example, large quantities of rice must be pounded in large mortars in a row. This work becomes a collective game between young boys and girls and an opportunity to flirt.
Here, it was the reception in the big house accompanied by the percussion of drums, tewung and gongs as well as clashing sections of bamboo. While the mask, udoq evolves.
