Funeral gong set
Recorded in situ. It is surely the game of "cing arap", a funerary game played at burials, from the house to the grave, and at all the periodic rites of the tomb. One of the five gong games known to the Jörai.Sound recordings collected by Jacques Dournes, French missionary and researcher, in Viet Nam in 1966 from the Jarai populations: instrumental solos, invocations, songs and soundscapes.
