Recordings of Ca Trù, a royal court sung poetry, collected by Aliénor Anisensel in Viet Nam in 2007. Singer Nguyen Thuy Hoà sings the classic song "Sending a Missive", alone here. We will appreciate his vocal technique of ornamentation (refer to my doctoral thesis for the description of these techniques). His playing of "phach" (struck bamboo board) is reduced to two rhythmic formulas (see my thesis).
