en Recordings of Ca Trù, a royal court sung poetry, collected by Aliénor Anisensel in Viet Nam in 2007. Song belonging to the classical repertoire of Ca trù. “Sending a Missive” is a sung poem relating the separation of two lovers by the Jade Emperor (Taoist deity) due to their laziness at work. One of the lovers writes a letter which he entrusts to the "wild goose" to remind him of his promise of chastity.
