en Recordings of entertainment songs with instrumental accompaniment, Ca trù (a royal court poetry), made out of context, by Aliénor Anisensel (French ethnomusicologist) in the municipality of Hanoi (Vietnam) between 2006 and 2014, with Vietnamese musicians. Private recording, made at my request among the musicians. The piece "Ty ba hanh" (lit. "singing accompanied by the ty ba lute"), reputed to be the most difficult because it includes the five cung (five pentatonic pitch systems) of Ca trù, is based on the transcription in Vietnamese from two Chinese poems. The first poem, entitled "Autumn Inspiration", consists of eight lines. The second poem, sung following the first, is an adaptation in Vietnamese of a Chinese poem of 88 lines. In this poem, a singer recounts her past glory at Court, her marriage to an old greedy merchant, her loneliness and her sadness. To the singer's story, the poet responds with an evocation of his own life, his career at Court and his disgrace experienced in exile, illness and solitude.
