Wedding.First day: arrival of the groom's family at the bride's family.
Evening in the longhouse. The young people force the guests to drink alcohol, around 8 p.m.
In the evening, after the meal, begins the rite of giving food and drink, to music. The male guests, seated in the long gallery in order of age, are obliged to accept alcohol offered by the young male guests. Then the female hosts, in traditional dress, in line, offer cakes to the men. The offer, once again, is an obligation: they insert the cake directly into their mouths. The rite is called pasiap. It is a mark of recognition and honor to feed your guest by inserting the food into their mouth.Composition:
- panyarai, hand-held gong, without bulb
- babandi (3)
- galentang, set of gongs placed on a frame.

Rituel de mariage. Premier jour: arrivée de la famille du marié chez la famille de la mariée.
Le soir dans la longue maison. Les jeunes forcent les invités à boire de l'alcool, vers 20h.
Le soir, après le repas, commence le rite de don de boisson et de nourriture, en musique. Les hommes invités, assis dans la longue galerie par ordre d'âge, sont obligés d'accepter l'alcool offert par les jeunes hôtes de sexe masculin. Puis les hôtes de sexe féminin, en costume traditionnel, en file, offrent des gâteaux aux hommes. L'offre, une fois encore, est une obligation : elles leur insèrent directement le gâteau dans la bouche. Le rite se nomme pasiap. C'est une marque de reconnaissance et d'honneur que de nourrir son invité en lui insérant la nourriture dans la bouche.Composition:

Pengantin Hari pertama: kedatangan keluarga pria ke keluarga wanita. Malam di rumah panjang. Orang-orang muda memaksa para tamu untuk minum alkohol, sekitar jam 8 malam. Di malam hari, setelah makan, dimulailah ritual memberi makanan dan minuman, hingga musik. Para tamu pria, yang duduk di galeri panjang sesuai urutan usia, diwajibkan untuk menerima alkohol yang ditawarkan oleh para tamu pria muda. Kemudian tuan rumah wanita, dengan pakaian tradisional, berbaris, menawarkan kue kepada para pria. Tawaran ini, sekali lagi, adalah sebuah kewajiban: mereka memasukkan kue langsung ke dalam mulut mereka. Ritual ini disebut pasiap. Ini adalah tanda pengakuan dan kehormatan untuk memberi makan tamu Anda dengan memasukkan makanan ke dalam mulut mereka.”Dengan: - panyarai, gong genggam, tanpa bohlam
