Scale of babandi gongs, small suspended gongs

Field recordings made in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, in 1997 by D. Rappoport :Dayak, Iban, Kayan populations. gong of five spans in circumference and 40 cm in diameter. These gongs are played by three, by two players only. One marks all the beats on a single gong while the other strikes the other two alternately in corches.

fr Enregistrements sonores inédits réalisés en Indonésie (West Kalimantan) en 1997 par Dana Rappoport, auprès des populations Dayak Taman, Iban, Kayan Mendalam. gong de cinq empans de circonférence et de 40 cm de diamètre. Ces gongs se jouent par trois, par deux joueurs seulement. Un marque tous les temps sur un seul gong tandis que l'autre frappe alternativement en corches les deux autres.
id Rekaman dibuat di Indonesia (Kalimantan Barat) pada tahun 1997 oleh Dana Rappoport, dalam masyarakat Mendalam Dayak Taman, Iban, Kayan. gong yang kelilingnya lima bentang dan diameternya 40 cm. Gong ini dimainkan oleh tiga orang, hanya dua pemain saja. Yang satu menandai semua ketukan pada satu gong sementara yang lain memukul dua gong lainnya secara bergantian dalam corches.
