Catholic singing office. Every Saturday morning, in the small town of Larantuka, a group of women have been meeting for four centuries in a chapel to sing songs from Portuguese colonization around 1550. These songs are sung in Latin, Old Portuguese and Indonesian. Personal, contextual prayer. Responsorial singing, the melody does not sound european.
