Ceremonial dance welcoming rice seeds to the village by all the villagers (200 families) in their finest attire and all the musical instruments together as well as the mouth organ, kedirek which revolves around the central column topped by toucan , surrounded by two tigers.
Dance of masks in a semi-circle facing the column, on the left, udoq kitaq (worn by men), made of wood and on the right udoq kibah (worn by women), made of inverted hoods covered with beaded tapestries representing the udoq on the face of the overturned basket.
The gestures are very slow and graceful. At the center of these two semicircular groups arrives udoq taing whose head represents an enormous wild boar (carried by 10 men) and small figures, udoq maok surrounds him and carry blowguns and quivers as well as baskets full of rice seeds. Dances for men and women are distinct. They are never mixed. But in secular dances.
The row wraps itself into a two-line circle and then unrolls.

Vocal and instrumental music collected in Kalimantan Timur in 1977 by N. Revel, J. Maceda and I Made Bandem. A male chorus begins followed by a solo male voice recounting a historical event. A warrior said to be the messenger of the Sultan of Kutai, dances ritual pantomime while offering a glass of water to the Raja, seated on the large humped gong. With gliding steps, he draws circles with his arm and follows a long diagonal line to bring the glass and place it in the Raja's hands. This offering dance lasted 4 minutes and the Raja stood up, received the glass and drank it. Traditionally, this dance took place at the end of a peace pact and after that the community waited to be informed of the contents of the agreement.

And after the warrior's dance, each of the guests of the big house held a bamboo internode filled with honey, diluted in water, as a glass and offered it to each visitor.

During a festive occasion, a wedding for example, large quantities of rice must be pounded in large mortars in a row. This work becomes a collective game between young boys and girls and an opportunity to flirt.
Here, it was the reception in the big house accompanied by the percussion of drums, tewung and gongs as well as clashing sections of bamboo. While the mask, udoq evolves.
