Informations sur le 'dding-pông' dans Jacques Dournes, 'La musique chez les Jörai' :
A l'audition, on croit entendre un son métallique produit par percussion. En fait, il s'agit d'un simple entre-noeuds de bambou et il faut trois personnes pour en jouer. Il fonctionne comme un aéroplane tubulaire, non comme un xylophone, il n'est pas percuté. Enregistrement: 19cm/s, Piste B. Qualités sonores moyennes. Cf. When you hear it, you think you're listening to a metallic sound produced by percussion. In fact, it's a simple bamboo knot, and it takes three people to play it.
