Recorded in situ. Vocal introduction by J. Dournes. Fiddle: monochord fiddle köni, ZITHER: two-stringed zither ddong. Particularities: the piece is played by a single musician who plays two instruments (the fiddle köni and the two-stringed zither ddong). Furthermore, playing the monochord fiddle 'köni' requres that the musician also produces sounds with his voice: a separate string is attached to the string of the instrument and held by his mouth. He hums through gritted teeth.
