Field recordings made in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, in 1997 by D. Rappoport :Dayak, Iban, Kayan populations. Each group of gongs has finished, the women continue the Timang Chanting at the top, the men prepare to go down in front of the longhouse to circle and dance around the cow cages (pandung)

2nd night of a six-day ritual (Gawai Mamandung ritual). This day is called Bumbulan. Repeated structure of the ritual sequences:
1) opening by the singers
2) gong: introductory ritual opening
3) descent of the men and women of the house, they will dance around the cages to the sound of the manjaratun
4) the rest of the night goes by to the sound of the piece gulembang.
