Field recordings made in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, in 1997 by D. Rappoport :Dayak, Iban, Kayan populations. Instrumental piece performed during the passage of alcohol served to male guests in line (membaris ritual), in the longhouse, on the ta'soo (common area). This music accompanies those who force others to drink. The music moves with them. - set of 2 gongs (babandi) suspended one tone apart

Enregistrements sonores inédits réalisés en Indonésie (West Kalimantan) en 1997 par Dana Rappoport, auprès des populations Dayak Taman, Iban, Kayan Mendalam. Pièce instrumentale exécutée lors du passage des alcools servis aux invités masculins en ligne (rituel membaris), dans la longhouse, sur le ta'soo (partie commmune). Cette musique accompagne ceux qui contraignent les autres à boire. La musique se déplace avec eux.

Musik ini mengiringi mereka yang memaksa orang lain untuk minum. Musik bergerak bersama mereka.
